Our decarbonisation commitment

We're targeting net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Along the way, we're cutting our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 45% by 2030, measured against our CY2021 baseline.

How we get there: our 2030 roadmap

Increase our energy efficiency
We're continuously fine-tuning how our sites use energy, so every process runs leaner without cutting output.

Switch from natural gas
Where we need high-temperature heat, we're working to move off natural gas and onto biomass and biogas instead.

Explore capture and storage
For the fossil fuel use we can't eliminate yet, we're looking at carbon capture and storage to cut its climate impact.
