Wood and recycled fibresources are processed andcleaned to produce pulp,that is then used to makekraft and recycled paper. The recycled and kraftpapers are manufacturedinto cardboard packaging. Opal produces a wide range ofcardboard boxes, punnets andcartons, bags, point-of-sale andspecialty packaging forindustries including FMCG,fresh produce, beverageand protein. Goods such as fresh produceand retail products are placedinto packaging andtransported. At end of use, cardboardpackaging is compacted orplaced in Opal Recyclingcollection bins and transferedto our recycling depot to beused to make recycled paper.
