Bag Paper

Product description

Lightweight yet tough kraft bag paper for retail, grocery and food-service carry bags. Available in virgin or up to 100% recycled fibre, it prints brilliantly and runs smoothly on high-speed bag lines.

  • Strong but low-weight means fewer breakages, less material

  • Smooth surface for sharp, vibrant branding

  • Food-safe & FSC® certified

Typical uses: SOS shopping bags, takeaway satchels, gift and pharmacy bags.

Recycled Bag Kraft

(Includes Retail, Lite, Pak, and Bag sub‑grades)

Retail Bag Light 

Grammage: 50, 60, 70 and 80 gsm.

  • 100% recycled
  • Food contact suitable for dry, aqueous, and fatty foods.
  • Manufactured OBA free.
  • Applications: Premium retail bags, boutique packaging, food service bags.

Natural Kraft Plus

(Based on AP Natural Kraft specifications)
Grammage: 50, 60, 70 and 80 gsm.

  • 100% virgin kraft fibre with light brown finish.

  • High strength for premium bag formats.

  • Applications: Boutique and gift bags, premium retail packaging.

Opal Australian Paper Kraft Plus

An uncalendared and unbleached singly ply product. Suitable for use in a diverse range of bags and general packaging applications.

Grammage: 50, 60, 70 and 80 gsm

  • Manufactured at Opal’s Maryvale Mill
  • Contains a blend of virgin fibre and at least an average of 50% recycled fibre
  • Application: Safe for use in contact with dry, non-fatty foodstuffs which are shelled, peeled or washed before consumption
